Today seemed like the perfect day to publish Lexi and Douglas’ engagement photos at Mount Bonnell because… they’re getting married today!
Douglas is a military man. He had just returned home the week before their engagement session after being stationed in Korea for months, and I could just tell during the session how happy they were to be reunited.
They originally met online two years ago and instantly clicked on their first date. They love to spend time with their loved ones — whether it be on double dates or bringing all of their favorite people together. Douglas even proposed while taking photos with their families, because he knew she wanted her family to witness the proposal. So sweet!
Lexi and Douglas took their engagement photos at Mount Bonnell because they remembered how gorgeous the scenery was when they went on a date there before.
It was my first engagement session at Mount Bonnell and it did not disappoint. We had the perfect weather. It started cloudy and then right before Lexi changed into her gorgeous red dress, the sun came out and we got the most gorgeous golden hour hues.
“I could say so much about Tess! Tess took my fiance and I’s engagement pictures and all came out so so good!!! She made us feel so comfortable and like we were the only people around. She was so personable and so much fun! After leaving our session my fiance said, “That was actually fun! Can we do it again?” And let me tell you, it was like pulling teeth for me to get him to go out and find outfits to wear for our shoot. I can’t wait to see all the amazing photos she takes at our wedding in February!”
I can’t wait to celebrate these two today!
