Jessica and Sherman’s early spring micro wedding at Chapel Dulcinea was fun, lighthearted, and relaxed — everything they wanted out of their wedding day.
Jessica and Sherman originally met 2 years ago on Bumble. In her initial inquiry, Jessica wrote: “We have an amazing relationship together. Who knew love and relationships could be easy?” And if that isn’t #goals, I don’t know what is.
It is a free open-air chapel, connected to a whiskey distillery, that boasts gorgeous panoramic views of the hill country. It holds a special place in my heart because it was where I got married.
Everything about Jessica and Sherman’s wedding was intentional and intimate. Jessica said every person who attended played an important in their love story. Sherman’s best friend officiated the wedding. Jessica’s children walked down the aisle and did a unity ceremony with their parents.
One of my favorite parts about the wedding was when Jessica walked down the aisle. Because they were using Chapel Dulcinea’s complimentary live streaming service, they couldn’t play licensed music. One of the guests began to sing acapella, and the rest of the guests joined. It was beautiful.
I also loved Jessica and Sherman’s first look and when they got to ring Chapel Dulcinea’s historic bell.
Like so many of the weddings of 2020 and 2021, the Wilson wedding was a beautiful reminder of how simple love and weddings can be. All you need are your people to surround you with love and support.
